  What’s Cookin’

Here’s an easy-to-make treat for that special dog in your life!

  Bubba’s Bar-B-Cue Biscuits
  2 Cups Whole Wheat Flour
½ Cup Bulgar (Cracked Wheat)
2 Tbsp. Brewer’s Yeast
2 Cloves Garlic, Minced
¼ Cup Vegetable Oil
¾ Cup Beef Stock
1 Beaten Egg
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
1 Tbsp. Catsup

These biscuits can be sized for any dog. Just be sure to adjust cooking time.

Preheat oven to 350F.
Combine flour, bulgur, brewer’s yeast, and garlic.
Add oil and beef stock and mix well. Dough should be very stiff. Add water if dough is too dry.

In small bowl beat together egg, Worcestershire sauce, and catsup.

Roll out the dough to 1/4 inch thickness (depending on the size of dog) and cut into appropriate sized biscuits. Brush with egg mixture. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for approximately 35 minutes. Turn heat off and let biscuits dry out in oven for several hours.
