  Common Hazard For Your Pet
If you suddenly notice a change in your pet’s coat or skin, think first about things YOU have changed, either in their environment or their diet. Many pets are allergic to products such as Carpet Fresher, insecticides, and many cleaning products. If your pet suddenly develops a rash or seems to have irritated paws or skin, first check if you have recently used any of these products in their environment. It is important to be very careful what products you use within close proximity to pet areas.

Another potential hazard comes from color dyes in food. If you have recently switched foods and you notice a reaction in your pet, check to see if there are red or artificial dyes in the food. Many animals are allergic to these dyes and will have a reaction to them.

So, the next time you notice a sudden change in your pet, first think about what recent changes YOU have made, your pet will thank you for it.
